Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Rush, is an old-school style of game about strawberry shortcake, a spunky girl who's always in trouble. This challenging game comes with well-created characters and attractive graphics that prove extremely appealing to kids as well as adults. The game also has a decent amount of music and comes with a well-adjustable difficulty curve so that it doesn't get too frustrating for players. Although the game is available for free on the Android Market through Google Play, it won't be available until it gets officially released on the iPhone and iPad as a free app. We'll have more information on the release as soon as we get it.
Throughout the course of the game, you'll encounter many familiar scenes like those seen in classic Disney movies where the titular character goes on a wild goose chase. To finish each level you'll have to use power-ups that instantly grant you a certain amount of lives; if you run out of lives you have to restart the level from the beginning. Most of the levels are designed to be very challenging and this is particularly true for the last one which involves a roller coaster ride and a blast through a number of buildings. Although there are a few power-ups in Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Rush that will instantly restore your health if you take a fall, I feel that making an effort to earn more lives would be much more rewarding in the long run.
As with any free online game with graphics, the interface for Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Rush feels a little unfinished. Other than the occasional glitch where a coin might get stuck in the screen, the overall gameplay of the free game is quite smooth. In my opinion, if you're looking for an online endless runner with attractive, lively graphics, than this is definitely worth a look; although I'm not sure if I'm going to find it addictive enough to keep playing it for a long period of time. If you want an enjoyable flash game with lots of addictive qualities, however, you should definitely download Strawberry Shortcake: Berry Rush!
